Privacy and data protection

This notice explains how Adventurers Club (نادي المغامرون) processes your personal data, under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

The data we process

• Enquiries and booking requests: name, phone number, branch, program, who the training is for and their age, message
• Registration and membership: the swimmer’s name, gender and date of birth; the parent or guardian’s name, relationship and phone number; branch, group and level; attendance; packages and payments
• Communication: what you send us on WhatsApp, by phone or on Instagram
• Technical use: IP address and server logs to protect the site; cookies as described in the cookie policy

We collect this data directly from you through the website forms, WhatsApp, phone and the registration form, and from the parent or guardian when the swimmer is a child.

Purposes and legal grounds

• Answering your enquiry, arranging registration and providing training: necessary to form and perform the contract (Art. 5/2-c)
• Keeping financial and accounting records: a legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç)
• Protecting the site and systems and improving the service: our legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f)
• Measuring visits and advertising: only with your explicit consent

Transfers

We share data only as far as needed with the service providers we work with: the hosting provider, whose servers are outside Türkiye, the backup service, Meta when you message us on WhatsApp, and the measurement and advertising tools of Google and Meta if you accept them. Transfers abroad follow Article 9 of the Law. We never sell your data.

Retention

We keep data for as long as the purpose it was collected for requires and for the periods the law sets, then delete, destroy or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the Law you may:

• Learn whether your data is processed, and ask for information about it
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used for that purpose
• Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it was transferred
• Ask for incomplete or wrong data to be corrected
• Ask for it to be deleted or destroyed under Article 7, and for those it was transferred to to be told
• Object to a result against you that comes only from automated analysis
• Claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing

How to apply

Send your application in writing to the club address above; we answer within 30 days at the latest.
